Designed for photography enthusiasts, this 10-day safari maximizes opportunities for capturing incredible wildlife moments. With expert guidance and strategic positioning, focus on getting the perfect shot in Tanzania's most photogenic locations.
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Meet your Katunzi guide and transfer to your Arusha hotel. Briefing focused on photographic goals and equipment preparation.
Drive to Tarangire. Two full days dedicated to photographing elephants, baobabs, and diverse birdlife, utilizing optimal light conditions (early morning/late afternoon drives).
Transfer to Lake Manyara. Focus on capturing birdlife, hippos, and potentially tree-climbing lions against the Rift Valley backdrop. Afternoon game drive optimized for photography.
Fly or drive to the Serengeti (specific region depending on season/migration). Three days dedicated to intensive photography, tracking wildlife, capturing landscapes, and focusing on predator action or migration scenes.
Final morning photo session in the Serengeti, followed by a drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Possible stop at Olduvai Gorge (optional). Overnight on the crater rim, allowing for potential sunset/sunrise photography.
Full day dedicated to photography within the Ngorongoro Crater. Utilize the entire day to capture the high density of wildlife, including the Big Five, in this unique caldera.
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure, filled with incredible photographs and memories.
