Day 1

Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Meet your Katunzi Adventure guide and transfer to your hotel in Arusha for overnight stay and safari briefing.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant population and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight at a safari lodge or camp near the park.

Day 3

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Morning drive towards the Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands. Enjoy game viewing en route as you enter the vast Serengeti plains. Overnight in the central Serengeti (Seronera area).

Day 4

Full Day Serengeti Exploration

Dedicate the full day to exploring the Serengeti. Depending on the season, you might witness the Great Migration or explore the Seronera River Valley, known for its resident wildlife, including big cats. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Overnight in the Serengeti.

Day 5

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti. Afterwards, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, potentially stopping at Olduvai Gorge (optional extra). Arrive at your lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Overnight near the crater rim.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Karatu

Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning of fantastic game viewing in this unique caldera, searching for the Big Five. After lunch, ascend the crater and drive to the nearby town of Karatu for overnight, located in the Ngorongoro highlands.

Day 7

Karatu to Arusha & Departure

After breakfast, you may opt for a brief visit to Lake Manyara National Park (optional extra) or visit the Mto wa Mbu market before driving back to Arusha. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.
